This cheer team accepts all members, both boys and girl ages 7+ with physical or cognitive disabilities. No try-out or audition necessary! We will be teaching a team routine and each week we will be adding to the overall routine, in prep for our final performances. If you miss a practice you may miss some material, but we will be able to catch the cheerleaders up the next week. The routine will include dancing, beginning tumbling (forward rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, etc…), and beginning stunting.

We will have at least 2 major performances per session. Performance dates will be announced. Transportation to the competitions will not be provided. Additional information about the competition arrival and performance times will be provided as the date approaches. We encourage all participants from the Fall Session to join the Winter Session.

Adaptive Cheerleading Summer Workshop I and Parent Open House

This is our crash course in cheerleading athletics! Children or teens ages 7+ with physical or cognitive disabilities are welcome. This session gives kids and teens a chance to try out some of the skills we will be teaching in our Cheer Team session in the fall and winter and while the kids are having fun, the parents can tour the facility, ask questions, and speak to other parents about the program. If you’re curious to see firsthand what cheerleading in 2008 is all about – this is the perfect class for you! Be ready for high-energy, fun music, dancing, and stunting.
